Some of the major festivals celebrated in Gambia are Tabaski, Tobaski, and Independence Day. Tabaski is celebrated on the 10th day of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijja, Tobaski is celebrated on the 15th day of the Islamic month of Muharram, and Independence Day is celebrated on February 18th each year.
