Kurdish singer Aynur brings her deeply moving voice and extraordinary musicality to Amager Bio in Copenhagen this November, in a concert presented by ALICE. Over a 25-year career, she has built a reputation for bridging rooted Kurdish and Alevi folk traditions with contemporary global sounds, earning international recognition including the WOMEX Artist Award and the Master of Mediterranean Music Award.
Aynur has collaborated with celebrated artists such as Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble, Kayhan Kalhor, and NDR Big Band, and has performed on Roskilde Festival's Orange Stage alongside Danish act Den Sorte Skole. Her music has been the subject of acclaimed documentaries and praised by leading international media.
