About

Théâtre à Tempo presents Bidule Man, a solo clown-musical performance by Olivier Forest at Salle Pauline-Julien in Montréal on April 18, 2027, where everyday objects become musical instruments in a comedic soundscape.

Bidule Man is a solo show by Olivier Forest, created under the banner of Théâtre à Tempo — a company whose work blends music, rhythm, dance, circus arts, and physical theatre into performances with broad audience appeal.

In this new show, Olivier Forest plays a sound researcher and collector of sonic textures who uncovers the hidden musicality in ordinary objects: ironing boards, rubber barnyard animals, hubcaps, and other items from everyday life all become instruments in his playful symphonies.

The result is a clownesque musical contortion — a path through orchestrated objects that is both absurd and musical, delivered with the comedic and physical flair that Théâtre à Tempo is known for.

Forest is already well known to audiences through previous Théâtre à Tempo productions including La Grande Étude, Concerto de bruits qui courent, L'Oubliette, and Swing Station.
