Joanna Wojtkiewicz is a Polish jazz vocalist now based in Copenhagen, active across both the Polish and Danish jazz scenes. She holds a degree in Composition and Music Theory from the Academy of Music in Poznań, as well as a bachelor's degree in Jazz Vocal from the Danish National Academy of Music in Odense.
Her accolades include the Grand Prix of the Ladies' Jazz Festival in Gdynia, among other Polish jazz and vocal awards. She has performed at venues and festivals throughout Europe, bringing a signature approach built on storytelling phrasing and expressive authenticity.
For this performance, Wojtkiewicz is joined by guitarist Henrik Bay, with bass and drums yet to be confirmed. The quartet takes the stage at Charlie Scott's, located at Skindergade 43 in Copenhagen, at 21:00.
