Monday Music is a chamber music series at the Royal Danish Academy of Music (DKDM) dedicated to high-level artistic performance. Each edition runs 90 minutes without an intermission, giving audiences an uninterrupted programme of chamber music.
This edition focuses entirely on Carl Nielsen (1865–1931), the celebrated Danish composer. The programme features three of his chamber works: the Violin Sonata in G minor, the Piano Trio, and the String Quintet in F minor.
The performers are RDAM students alongside faculty members Frederik Øland, Asbjørn Nørgaard, and Fredrik Sjölin.
Following the concert, audience members and musicians are invited to mingle informally in the bar, making it an opportunity to connect with performers in a relaxed setting.
