DR Symfoniorkestret closes out 2026 with a second New Year Gala performance at DR Koncerthuset, bringing champagne, canapés and celebratory orchestral music to the Koncertsalen on New Year's Eve.
The programme features the traditional Viennese sounds of Lumbye and Strauss alongside French operatic highlights by Offenbach, Bizet, Ravel and Gounod — including the Habanera from Carmen, the Barcarolle from Tales of Hoffmann and the exhilarating Can Can from Galop Infernal.
Sopranos Sofie Lund and Laura Helene Hansen join the orchestra as soloists for what promises to be a festive and emotionally rich afternoon concert to welcome the new year.
