Visual artist Fabien Verschaere presents an immersive exhibition-workshop co-created with the Centre Pompidou at Musée Parcelle473, designed to introduce young audiences to contemporary art through interactive discovery.
Created by visual artist Fabien Verschaere in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou, the exhibition-workshop 1+1=11 transforms the spaces of Musée Parcelle473 into an immersive world tailored for younger visitors. Open on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September 2026 from 11:00 to 18:00.
Children are invited to explore a universe filled with hybrid and fantastical creatures, progressing at their own pace, taking on challenges and forging their own path through the artworks. The experience blends shapes, colours and characters to spark imagination, curiosity and personal expression.
More than a conventional exhibition, 1+1=11 is a sensory and creative encounter with contemporary art — playful, free and accessible at a child's level.
