About
Organised by the association Acanthe as part of the European Heritage Days 2026, this activity at the Henri-Prades museum takes place on both Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September, from 10:00 to 18:00.
The event is structured around two complementary spaces. Children are invited to take part in playful workshops involving fresco reconstruction and ceramic reassembly, while adults can engage with an interactive quiz format.
Both approaches invite participants to explore restoration techniques, material-specific challenges and the ethical decisions that shape how archaeological remains are conserved and presented to the public.
The activity is open to all ages and aims to show how archaeological heritage is studied, restored and transmitted across generations.
