A selection of 30 masterpieces of Chinese art from the Guimet museum's collection is on display at the Musée des arts décoratifs Sabatier d'Espeyran in Montpellier on Saturday 19 September 2026 from 11:00 to 18:00 as part of the European Heritage Days.
The Hôtel de Cabrières-Sabatier d'Espeyran, an elegant private mansion situated close to the Fabre museum in Montpellier, hosts Guimet+ Montpellier – a collaboration with the Guimet museum in Paris, which holds the largest national collection of Asian arts in Europe.
The exhibition presents an exceptional selection of 30 masterpieces of Chinese art, inviting visitors to journey through several millennia of history, craftsmanship and artistic creation.
The exhibition is open on Saturday 19 September 2026 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. as part of the European Heritage Days.
