A selection of 30 Chinese art masterpieces from the Guimet museum's national Asian arts collection is presented at the Musée des arts décoratifs Sabatier d'Espeyran in Montpellier on Sunday 20 September 2026, as part of the Journées européennes du patrimoine.
Housed in the elegant Hôtel de Cabrières-Sabatier d'Espeyran, just steps from the Fabre museum, this exhibition is the fruit of a partnership between the venue and the Guimet museum in Paris — home to the largest national collection of Asian arts in Europe.
Visitors can discover 30 carefully selected masterpieces of Chinese art, spanning several millennia of history, craftsmanship and artistic creation.
The exhibition is open from 11:00 to 18:00 and takes place within the framework of the Journées européennes du patrimoine 2026.
