About

A free self-guided tour of the exhibition 'Mediterranean Banquets, between Greeks, Etruscans and Gauls' at the Henri-Prades Museum (Lattara archaeological site) in Montpellier, exploring ancient food practices and the social significance of shared meals.

The association Acanthe, part of the master's programme in Heritage Promotion and Mediation at the University Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3, is organising this event at the Henri-Prades museum within the Lattara archaeological site for the 43rd edition of the European Heritage Days.

The exhibition 'Mediterranean Banquets, between Greeks, Etruscans and Gauls' explores the food practices of Antiquity through the lens of shared meals, the objects used, and their social and cultural significance in Mediterranean societies.

Visitors are free to explore the exhibition at their own pace, with no guide required. Admission is free and open to all.
