About
The association Acanthe, from the master's programme in Heritage Promotion and Mediation at the University Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3, organises this activity as part of the 43rd edition of the European Heritage Days at the Lattara archaeological site and Henri-Prades museum.
The workshop is aimed at children between 6 and 12 years old and introduces them to the archaeologist's profession through a playful, participatory excavation experience. Using appropriate tools, young participants uncover objects, observe them and document their finds in a research log.
The activity is designed to convey the everyday gestures of archaeological fieldwork and to spark curiosity about the richness of archaeological heritage.
