PANDEMONIUM, a wordless music-theatrical production combining chamber music, physical theatre, puppetry and film, runs at Aveny-T's Store Scene in Copenhagen from 29 September to 3 October 2026.
PANDEMONIUM (or Dreaming of Paradise) is a co-production presented as music theatre without words, blending newly composed chamber music, physical theatre, puppetry and film into a unified Gesamtkunstwerk.
The story unfolds deep underground, where two enslaved workers toil at a furnace that spews a dark, oily liquid, ruled over by a tyrant whose cruelty is masked by childlike behaviour. Trapped in a claustrophobic existence from which escape seems impossible, the slaves harbour a dangerous secret — and when it is revealed, revolution becomes inevitable.
The production runs at Aveny-T's Store Scene from Tuesday 29 September to Saturday 3 October 2026, with performances starting at 19:30.
