L'Ensemble Grand FILOS réunit sept musiciens pour mêler les traditions musicales grecque, kurde et turque à la musique folklorique orale française, dans un concert de world music polyphonique et percussive au Le JAM.
The Grand Ensemble FILOS unites seven musicians under the artistic direction of Paul Oliver, exploring the musical crossroads between Greece, Kurdistan, Turkey and France. The result is a singular blend of powerful polyphonies, vibrant strings and percussion.
Lineup: Paul Oliver (saz bağlama, baritone violin, choir), Clémence Gabrielidis (vocals), Raphaëlle Yaffee (vocals, violin), Hélèna Morag (violin, vocals), Damien Fadat (bansuri, wooden transverse flute, choir), François 'Paco' Labat (doholla, daf, choir), Christophe Montet (tombak, doyre, riqq, vocals).
