MEUTE, the Hamburg-based techno marching band, returns to Poolen in Copenhagen on 6 May 2027 — following their sold-out show at the same venue in 2025. This time, they arrive with a brand-new album and an all-new light show designed to heighten the live experience.
Founded in 2015, MEUTE has grown from a local Hamburg cult act into a globally recognised ensemble. What sets them apart is their commitment to performing techno music exclusively on acoustic instruments, effectively merging the marching band tradition with electronic dance music.
Their 2017 debut album "Tumult" — which included a reimagining of Danish artist Trentemøller's "Miss You" — launched their international breakthrough. Since then, the group has performed at major festivals and sold-out venues across Europe, the US, Canada, and South Africa, and has collaborated with artists including Flume, Deadmau5, and Ben Böhmer.
Live, the band performs dressed in matching red uniforms, surrounded by an immersive light show, creating a euphoric atmosphere that blurs the line between a classical march and a dancefloor celebration.
