Swedish artist Valter Nilsson brings his soul-rock sound to Ideal Bar on November 7th. Known for turning everyday stories into emotionally grandiose melodrama, Nilsson released his second album, Högsbo Riviera, in March 2026 — a record featuring brass, strings and expansive choruses that Swedish GAFFA awarded five stars.
Nilsson released his first Swedish-language album, Bland de gyllene och de allmänt brända, in spring 2025, and quickly built a devoted following. Three sold-out shows at Nefertiti at the end of 2025 earned him a perfect score from Göteborgs-Posten, who wrote: "Sell your child for a ticket." He has since been described as one of Sweden's most talked-about new voices.
