The Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail consists of over 400 sites stretching along the Texas coast from the Louisiana border to the Mexican border. The trail is organized into 11 loops that include sites for birding, wildlife viewing, and environmental education. The trails provide birders with a variety of habitats, including coastal marshes, beaches, dunes, mudflats, and more. Each loop has its own guidebook, with detailed descriptions of each site, bird lists, maps, and photographs.
