Along the tourist route, the Commission works to promote responsible tourism practices, provide public education and awareness, and help to ensure that tourist activities do not negatively impact archaeological sites. The Commission also works to ensure that any profits generated from archaeological tourism are reinvested into protecting and preserving the sites.
