The Horned Viper is a desert creature, what is it?

The Horned Viper (Cerastes cornutus) is a species of small, venomous snake found in the deserts of North Africa, the Middle East and parts of Southwestern Asia. It is also known as the 'desert horned viper' due to its characteristic horns above its eyes. It is a nocturnal predator, mainly preying on small mammals and lizards.
