What do you think is more mind-blowing: the idea that we are alone in the universe or the idea that we are not?

I think the idea that we are not alone in the universe is more mind-blowing. The idea that there could be other forms of intelligent life out there is fascinating and raises a lot of questions about our place in the universe.
