What is a TGV in France?

TGV stands for Train à Grande Vitesse, which translates to High-Speed Train. The TGV is a network of high-speed trains operated by the French national railway company, SNCF. It is the fastest way to travel between major French cities, and can reach speeds of up to 320 km/h (200 mph).
