According to the legends, Brocéliande is the enchanted forest of King Arthur, home to the Lady of the Lake and the magical fountain of Barenton. It is said that the Lady of the Lake gave Arthur the sword Excalibur and the magical stone that chose him as the king. It is also believed that the forest contains Merlin's tomb.
