I once traveled to a foreign country where I didn't speak the language. I was in a taxi heading to my hotel and the driver spoke no English. I had a map of the city, but I didn't know how to explain where I wanted to go. So I decided to try to use my phone to show him a picture of my hotel. I pulled out my phone, but the driver didn't understand what I was trying to do. He just kept pointing at the map, while I kept pointing at my phone. After a few minutes of confusion, I finally managed to show him the hotel on my phone. He smiled, nodded, and drove me to my destination. It was a strange, yet funny experience.
