About

三座标志性的海蚀柱从地中海中拔地而起,矗立于Capri岛东南海岸附近,是该岛最具代表性的自然地标之一。中间那块岩石上有一座天然拱门,小型船只可以穿行而过。

The Faraglioni are three limestone sea stacks rising out of the Mediterranean off the southeastern coast of Capri, in the Bay of Naples. They are among the island's most recognizable natural landmarks, and many visitors come to Capri with them in mind before they arrive.

What to see

The three rocks stand in a line close to the shore, each rising steeply from the water. The central stack has a natural arch cut through it, large enough for small boats to pass beneath. Seen from the water, the arch frames the sea and the other two rocks, which is why the view is so often photographed.

Making the visit

  • From the water: Boat trips around the island pass the Faraglioni, and this is the classic way to see the arch up close.
  • From the land: The stacks can also be seen from viewpoints along the southeastern side of the island, where the coastline opens onto the sea.
  • Also known as: You may see them listed as the Faraglioni di Capri.

The area around them

The Faraglioni sit on the southeastern edge of Capri, so a visit fits well with a day spent exploring the island's coast and its towns. Because the rocks are a natural feature rather than a built attraction, there is no ticketed site to plan around; the experience depends mainly on the weather, the light, and how you choose to approach them. Allow time to look at the rocks from more than one angle, and check locally what boat and viewpoint options are running on the day you plan to go.
