About
Dom Babin: Stand-Up Show is a live comedy evening in Montreal, Canada, held at L'Olympia. The performance is set for November 17 at 8 PM, and seating is assigned, so visitors can plan their arrival with the door time in mind.
What the show is like
This is a humorous, storytelling-driven set. Dom Babin reflects on identity and on being caught between American, French and Canadian influences. He describes himself as the French-speaking North American, and much of the material plays on that position: too American to be French, too Canadian to be American, too French to be Canadian. For a visitor, it offers a window into how a bilingual, multicultural city and its surrounding culture look from the inside, delivered through personal anecdote rather than a lecture.
