About
Duo Jatekok, the French piano duo, returns to Copenhagen with a hybrid concert show at Amager Bio on 6 April 2027. The evening is built around two grand pianos, and it blends minimalist music with the heavy world of Rammstein, bringing together classical and metal influences in a single performance.
What to expect
- Format: a concert on two grand pianos, performed as a continuous flow rather than a sequence of separate songs.
- Music: Rammstein's heavy universe paired with minimalist works by Philip Glass, Steve Reich and John Adams.
- Venue: Amager Bio, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Why the duo is worth seeing
Duo Jatekok has played in some demanding settings. The duo supported Rammstein at Parken in Copenhagen in 2019 and later joined several of the band's European and American stadium tours. Its wider career includes performances at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, the Festival de la Roque-d'Anthéron and Flagey in Brussels. This show, which the duo presents as a return to Denmark, brings that experience into a more intimate concert hall setting.
