About
Hola Ghost is a Danish rock band, and on 31 October 2026, All Hallows' Eve, it plays Lille VEGA in Copenhagen. For a visitor to the city, it is a night out with a clear theme: the concert falls on the eve of All Saints' Day, and the band leans into that season.
The show
The band performs in Day of the Dead face masks, flanked by a mariachi horn section. The music draws on several sources at once: surf rock, Mexican folklore, punk and spaghetti-western soundtracks. The result is what the band calls dark Scandinavian mariachi rock, a mix that sounds both festive and eerie.
About the band
Hola Ghost has toured Europe, the USA, Mexico and South America, and has released several albums, EPs and singles. Its upcoming third album is due on the Finnish label Svart Records. The band began while its founders, Peter Sandorff, formerly of Nekromantix, and Jeppe B. Jessen, were working on the soundtrack for the horror film Cannibal Flesh Riot! (2007). The lineup has since grown to five members, including drummer Kristian Sandorff and the trumpeters from The Haunted Horns.
