About
Kool & The Gang bring their R&B, funk and pop sound to Royal Arena in Copenhagen on 10 March 2027. It is a concert for anyone who knows the band's music, and for anyone who wants to hear songs that have been part of many people's lives for decades.
What to expect
The group has built a catalogue that spans more than five decades. Audiences can expect the songs that fans know best, including:
- Celebration
- Cherish
- Jungle Boogie
- Summer Madness
- Open Sesame
The band was officially launched in 1969, and it has performed continuously for longer than any other R&B group in history. Its records have included 25 Top 10 R&B hits, nine Top 10 pop hits and 31 gold and platinum albums. The group has also won two Grammy Awards and seven American Music Awards, and it is often described as the most sampled R&B band ever.
The venue
The concert takes place at Royal Arena, a large indoor venue in Copenhagen. For a show of this kind, it suits visitors who want a full arena experience rather than an intimate club night.
Getting tickets
Tickets are sold through the Royal Arena website, where the event page lists the current details for the show.
