About
Kovacs: Electronic Soul Concert brings Dutch singer Kovacs to Amager Bio in Copenhagen on Thursday 27 May. It is a concert evening, arranged by Event Agency, and it suits visitors who want a night out with live music rather than a sightseeing stop.
The music
Kovacs performs with dark, soulful vocals set against electronic music. Her sound draws on the energy of Berlin club culture and on older electro styles, so the evening moves between warm, expressive singing and rhythms built for the dance floor. Listeners who enjoy the meeting point of soul and electronic music will find much here to follow.
The venue
The concert takes place at Amager Bio, a venue on the island of Amager, a short distance from the centre of Copenhagen. Visitors coming to the city for a few days can combine the show with time in the surrounding areas, since the Danish capital offers a wide range of restaurants, cafés and neighbourhoods to explore before or after the performance.
