About
Norwegian rock band Motorpsycho bring their psychedelic and progressive sound to Loppen in Copenhagen on 3 April 2027, as one stop on their spring European tour. It is a concert for anyone who enjoys long, winding songs and the sense that a band is willing to go somewhere unexpected.
What to expect
The band, formed in Trondheim in the late 1980s, blends progressive and psychedelic rock with jazz, pop, country and post-rock. Its core members are bassist and vocalist Bent Sæther and guitarist and vocalist Hans Magnus "Snah" Ryan. Their 1993 double album Demon Box brought them wider attention and earned a Norwegian Grammy nomination.
For this tour the band promises a whole new stage show, with new gizmos and gadgets, alongside new material and established favourites. Jams and tunes never heard before are part of the plan, so the set should feel both fresh and familiar.
Practical notes
- Bring ear plugs, as the band advises.
- Wear comfortable shoes for a long evening on your feet.
- Tickets and details are available through the Loppen calendar and its ticket shop.
The Copenhagen date is part of a tour that begins in Norway in March and April 2027 before moving across Europe, so it suits travellers already planning a spring trip to Denmark.
