About
Oh People is a Danish jazz quintet led by guitarist Casper Christensen. On a night in Copenhagen, the group plays a live jazz concert at Charlie Scott's, with the performance set for November 28 at 21:00.
About the band
The quintet's lineup is Casper Christensen on guitar, Jonas Due on trumpet, Lasse Mørck on double bass, Henrik Holst on drums and Andreas Toftemark on saxophone. The band is described as featuring some of Denmark's young musicians.
Their music rests on a firm grounding in jazz tradition, while the players look to explore and shape a sound of their own. For listeners, that means a concert that respects the familiar roots of the genre but keeps moving toward something new.
