About
Jamaican dub pioneer Scientist brings his 1981 album Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires to Copenhagen for a full performance of the record at ALICE. The concert takes place on 3 February 2027 and marks the album's 45th anniversary.
About the show
This is a concert built around one album, played in full from start to finish, so it suits listeners who want to hear a complete record in a live setting rather than a loose set of favourites. Scientist is known as one of the key figures of dub, a style that reshapes reggae through studio techniques such as echo, reverb and sudden drops in sound, and the album is a central example of that approach.
What to expect
