About
The Love Cats Project is a tribute band devoted to The Cure, and on 5 December 2026 it plays Le Ministère in Montreal. For fans of the English band's music, it offers a night of songs performed live in a city that is easy to explore before or after the show.
The music
The set recreates the post-punk and cold wave sound that defined much of The Cure's work. It moves between brighter pop hits, such as Just Like Heaven, and the darker, more atmospheric material that many listeners remember most. Expect a mix that suits both long-time devotees and newcomers curious about the band's range.
The staging
The concert is designed to be immersive. Large projections and atmospheric sets work alongside the music, so the room is shaped as much by light and mood as by sound. It makes this a show to experience rather than simply listen to.
