About
The Meffs are a British punk duo, and on Saturday 24 April they play a concert at Beta in Copenhagen, starting at 19:00. It is a straightforward evening out for anyone who likes loud, direct guitar-and-drums music with a political edge and a melodic streak.
About the band
The Meffs have been active on the British punk scene since 2019. The duo is made up of Lily Hopkins on guitar and vocals and Lewis Copsey on drums. Their songs combine politically charged lyrics with melodic punk rock, so the set tends to be as tuneful as it is raw.
Their 2024 debut album, What A Life, was made with Frank Turner, which gives listeners a useful reference point if they already know his work.
