About
Jazz vocalist Astrid Engberg performs a winter jazz concert at Thorvaldsens Museum in Copenhagen on 29 January 2027. The evening is part of the museum's Thorvaldsen & Musikken series, which brings music into the museum's galleries during the colder months.
About the evening
- Date: 29 January 2027
- Doors open: 19:30
- Music begins: 20:00
- Style: jazz, with Astrid Engberg as the vocalist
- Venue: Thorvaldsens Museum, Copenhagen, Denmark
Thorvaldsens Museum is devoted to the sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen and holds his works, so a concert here offers a different way of spending an evening among art. Because the series pairs the museum with live music, the visit suits anyone who enjoys listening to a singer in a setting built around sculpture and quiet, considered space.
Planning your visit
Arrive from 19:30 to settle in before the music starts at 20:00. Copenhagen's city centre is within easy reach of the museum, so the concert also makes a good anchor for a winter evening out, with time to walk, eat or visit other parts of the city before or after the performance.
