About
Wednesday Concert: Works for String Quartet and Wind Quintet is a chamber music event in Copenhagen, Denmark. It takes place at Støberiet on 4 November 2026, running from 17:00 to 18:00.
The programme brings together the LAiKA string quartet and a wind quintet, playing pieces written for those two ensembles. Hearing a string quartet and a wind quintet on the same bill offers a useful contrast in colour and texture, as the bowed strings and the woodwind and brass voices take turns in the spotlight.
What kind of visit this is
The event is described as a lunchtime-style chamber concert, so it suits a short, focused outing rather than a long evening. An hour is a comfortable length for a visitor who wants to hear live music without committing an entire night to it.
