About

七层博物馆专门展示爱尔兰著名的黑啤酒,设有互动展览,在Gravity Bar可欣赏城市全景。位于历史悠久的啤酒厂建筑内。

The Guinness Storehouse sits in the historic brewery building at St. James's Gate, Dublin 8, a short way west of the city centre. It is a museum devoted to Ireland's best-known stout, and it occupies seven floors of the old brewhouse, with the brewery still working around it.

What you will find inside

The displays are interactive, so the visit is more than a set of panels to read. Exhibits trace the making of the beer, its ingredients and the brewing process, and the story of the brand over its long life. The building itself, with its historic brewery spaces, adds to the sense of place.

The view from the top

Most visitors make their way up to the Gravity Bar, which is on the top floor and gives panoramic views across the city. It is a natural place to pause after the exhibits, and many people come up for the view alone.

Planning your visit

  • The museum is also known as the Arthur Guinness Museum.
  • Telephone the site on +353 1 408 4800 before you set out to check arrangements.
  • Allow time to move through seven floors of exhibits and to reach the Gravity Bar at the top.
  • Because it lies a little outside the centre, you may want to plan your route in advance.

For anyone interested in Irish history, brewing or simply a well-presented museum with a good view over Dublin, the Guinness Storehouse makes a worthwhile visit.
