About

欧洲最大的古董市场横跨15个不同的市场,提供从复古家具到珍稀收藏品的各类商品。这个寻宝者的天堂在周末和周一营业,吸引着来自世界各地的经销商和游客。

The Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen is a flea market on the northern edge of Paris, in the town of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine. It is one of the best-known antique markets in Europe, and for many visitors it is the main reason to cross the city's northern boundary.

The market is made up of around fifteen distinct markets, each with its own character. Some are covered halls packed with stalls, others are open lanes of dealers, and together they offer a wide range of goods, from vintage furniture and lighting to decorative objects and rarer collectibles. Browsing is part of the experience: a visitor can move from a stall of old glassware to a dealer specialising in mid-century design without leaving the site.

What to expect

  • Timing: the market trades on weekends and on Mondays, so a weekday visit will find it closed.
  • Crowds: dealers and tourists come from around the world, and the lanes can be busy, especially at midday.
  • Prices: most stalls expect some negotiation, though it is best approached politely and with a sense of what you want to buy.
  • Pace: the site is large, so allow several hours if you want to see more than a few markets.

Around the market

Saint-Ouen sits just outside the Périphérique ring road, so the market is easily combined with a wider trip into the city. Many visitors pair a morning of browsing with lunch in the surrounding streets, then head back into central Paris to continue their day.

For anyone who enjoys searching through old objects, looking for a particular piece, or simply seeing a working antique trade up close, the Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen offers a visit quite unlike Paris's museums and monuments.
