About

这座历史悠久的城堡曾是强大的前田氏领主的居城,城内设有经过修复的箭楼、城门与土墙。数百年来,这片城郭建筑群一直是加贺藩的政治中心。

Kanazawa Castle Park sits in the heart of Kanazawa, a city on Japan's Sea of Japan coast in the Chubu Region. It is also known as Kanazawa-jo Koen (金沢城公園), and it occupies the grounds of a castle that once belonged to the powerful Maeda clan lords.

What you will see

The park brings together restored turrets, gates, and earthen walls that give a sense of how the castle complex was laid out. For centuries it served as the political center of the Kaga Domain, so the site is as much about government and daily administration as it is about military architecture. Walking through the grounds, you move between structures and open spaces that were once part of a working seat of power.
