About
Tindersticks in Concert is an evening concert in Copenhagen by the British band Tindersticks, a group with a devoted following in the cult music scene. The performance takes place at Gamle Scene, the older of the two stages at Det Kongelige Teater, the Royal Danish Theatre.
What to expect
The band takes the stage for an evening show, so the event suits visitors who want a night out built around live music rather than a daytime sightseeing stop. Because the concert is staged in a theatre rather than a club or open-air venue, it offers a seated, more intimate setting for a band whose records are often described as atmospheric.
Visiting the venue
Gamle Scene is one of the stages belonging to the Royal Danish Theatre, which is based in the centre of Copenhagen. The theatre is a convenient base for an evening, and the surrounding city centre offers cafés, restaurants and waterfront streets to enjoy before or after the show.
