August Høyen brings his biggest headline show to date to the legendary K.B. Hallen in Copenhagen on 28 November 2026. The venue holds a special personal significance for Høyen, making this an emotionally charged milestone in his career.
Høyen broke through on the Danish music scene in 2023 with his debut EP 'Det Hele Handler Om Dig', blending country-influenced songwriting with soul and folk sensibilities. The release earned him nationwide recognition, including a spot on P3's Uundgåelige — a prestigious list of breakthrough Danish artists.
Since his debut, Høyen has performed at major Danish festivals including Roskilde Festival, Heartland and NorthSide, as well as a string of sold-out club shows at Store VEGA and, most recently, Det Kongelige Teater (The Royal Theatre).
His musical roots trace back to childhood drumming and teenage hours spent listening to Stevie Wonder and practising vocals. A guitar gifted by his father during a difficult period in 2021 set him on the path to songwriting, drawing inspiration from artists ranging from Mississippi John Hurt to Alison Krauss, and combining country honesty with soul and pop sensibility.
