About
Positivity is a Montreal band, and on 18 November it brings a ten-piece lineup to Le Verre Bouteille for an evening of funk, acid jazz and soul. It is a concert built for dancing as much as listening, with horns, improvisation and danceable grooves at its centre.
What to expect
- A ten-musician stage, with guitar, bass, keyboards, percussion, drums and horns
- Music drawn from funk, acid jazz and soul
- Room for improvisation within grooves meant to get people moving
The band names Incognito, Jamiroquai, Tower of Power and The Brand New Heavies among its inspirations, which gives a sense of the sound: warm, rhythmic and horn-led, with a leaning toward the club floor.
The venue and the area
Le Verre Bouteille is at 2112 Avenue Mont-Royal E, in Montreal, Quebec. The concert takes place there on the evening of 18 November 2026. Avenue Mont-Royal is one of the city's well-known east-end streets, so a visit can easily pair the show with a walk or a meal before or after.
