About
Queen of Soul: Motown & Disco Concert is a live music evening in Montreal, Canada, built around the songs of Motown and disco. Singer Michelle Sweeney performs the set at Le Balcon, a Montreal venue, on Saturday, January 9, with the show starting at 8:30 p.m.
What the evening offers
The concert is a night of music rather than a lecture or exhibition, so it suits anyone who enjoys soul, rhythm and dance-floor classics. Motown and disco share a lot of warmth and energy, and the programme brings the two together in one room, which makes it an easy choice for a group outing or a relaxed evening out with friends.

Montreal is a city where evenings out often extend well beyond the show itself, with its restaurants, bars and neighbourhoods close at hand. If you are visiting in January, a concert at a city venue is a good way to spend a winter night, and the event gives you a clear reason to plan the rest of your evening around it.
