This Wednesday Concert presents a programme of German Romantic song and French chamber music alongside a set of contemporary miniatures. Baritone William Tarrach and pianist Dina Elena Draugsvoll open with Robert Schumann's Liederkreis Op. 24, a song cycle setting poems by Heinrich Heine.
The second major work is Francis Poulenc's Sextet for wind quintet and piano (FP. 100), performed by Simona Guler on flute, Tina Hrga on oboe, Yi-Ting Ma on clarinet, Laura Montfort on bassoon, Cecilie Welde on horn, and Ólína Ákadóttir on piano.
The programme also includes György Ligeti's 6 Bagatellen, witty and compact pieces originally written for wind quintet.
The concert takes place at Hellig Kors Kirke, Kapelvej 38, 2200 Copenhagen N, from 17:00 to 18:00.
