The Tivoli Youth Guard, made up of 90 children aged 9-16 in red jackets and bearskin hats, marches through the gardens playing Christmas carols plus Danish and English marches. It runs on Saturday afternoons and begins and ends at Tivoli Castle.
The Tivoli Youth Guard marches through Tivoli Gardens every Saturday at 13:30 from November 21 to December 19, starting and finishing at Tivoli Castle.
The repertoire features Christmas carols along with Danish and English marches.
The guard has 90 members aged 9-16, who all attend the Tivoli Youth Guard music school daily. At weekends they perform in bright red uniform jackets and bearskin hats.
